Both are simple to install, easy to read and work with any model of inverter. The two products use a Radiofrequentie to transfer data about solar yield between measure unit and PV station. The Solar Babe works independently of its inverter and can be used with every single-phase system and all installations. The Solar Dude has a full-colour touch screen, while its transmitter is in the AC line running between distribution box and inverter. Communication of up to 50 metres is possible due to the wireless communication linking display and transmitter.
